Introduction

The Pharmacist is responsible planning, organizing and successfully implementing activities regarding pharmacy retail operations, generating pharmacy reports, provide patient counselling and institute and implement enhancement of services quality

Responsibilities

·         Responsible for planning, organizing & successfully implementing all activities in relation to pharmacies retail operations

·         Supervision of pharmacy reports & liaison with Head office

·         Maintenance of legal procedure & narcotic registers

·         Maintain discipline and implementation of policies and procedures

·         Impart knowledge of new products and necessary staff training

·         Prepare monthly performance evaluation on all employees in a comprehensive manner

·         Institute & implement enhancement of services quality

·         Assist in selection of staff, as well as removal when necessary

·         Provide guidance on medications & prescription & over the counter drugs

·         Keep up to date with current pharmacy practices new drugs & their uses

·         Provide patient counselling if required

·         Any other duties directed by SM pharmacies

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Pharm - D. 
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Commercial / Retail Pharmacies.
